Our History

Founded in 1968, East Riding Sacks Ltd is an independent family controlled company.

East Riding Sacks Ltd commenced production in potato sacks for local farmers and is currently the largest supplier of sacks to this market segment in the UK.

This was followed by an expansion into the flour sack market, in rolled bottom (double fold) easy open sacks. Through substantial investment and development, East Riding Sacks Ltd is now the market leader in this industry segment.

During the late 1990's the decision was made to expand into the industrial valve sack market and once again the company has become one of the largest producers of industrial valve sacks in the UK, for cement, building products, chemicals and pigments.
