At East Riding Sacks, we are committed to reducing our carbon footprint through practical and measurable initiatives that support a more sustainable future. From sourcing all our paper from responsibly managed forests to investing in renewable energy and energy-efficient technologies, we are taking meaningful steps towards environmental responsibility.

The below actions support our target of achieving a 54% absolute reduction in carbon emissions by 2033.

Sustainable Sourcing

All the paper products we use are responsibly sourced from well managed and sustainable forests.

Renewable Energy

We have installed 1,300 solar panels, which are projected to reduce approx. 20% of our annual purchased energy.

EV Charging

As more of our company vehicles transition to electric, we have installed dedicated charging points to support this.

Internal Recycling

We recycle all paper waste and wastewater from our production areas.

Energy Efficient

We have upgraded all our lighting to energy-efficient LED fixtures throughout.
